1.) For
many patients either an in-house test is done or an outside test is
ordered.

2.) If a test is done, the
specimen will be sent to your lab.
|
|

3.) Once the lab results are sent to your practice, it is entered
into VestiTrak. VestiTrak can notify you if there are any pending lab
results and the number of days since the test was done.
|
|

|
4.) Test details are entered into VestiTrak and/or a reminder is
set to schedule a follow-up. The patient’s chart is then returned
to medical records.

|

|
5.) The physician will review
the results and the patient will be contacted by phone if results are
abnormal. Patient might be scheduled for additional procedures such as a
repeat pap smear, colposcopy, and treatment.

6.) If the lab results are
normal, recall letters can be generated along with mailing labels.
VestiTrak automatically documents that the recall letter was sent and
closes the follow up.
