1. What is VestiTrak?


VestiTrak is the only risk management system for healthcare providers that automates the patient follow-up and recall process.  It is designed to lower the physician’s liability, reduce administrative costs and increase revenues. 

VestiTrak automatically monitors the entire follow-up process and records when a test was ordered; if the lab results have come back from the lab; if a follow-up communication with the patient has occurred; if the patient has scheduled a visit and/or missed an appointment; how many times a patient has been followed-up with; and who initiated the follow-up.

VestiTrak also generates more than 50 reports which can be vital for effectively managing an OB/GYN practice or clinic.

3. Who will use VestiTrak in our office?

 
The staff members responsible for patient follow-up, recall and scheduling (such as nurse practitioners, office managers and administrative staff) will typically use VestiTrak the most.  Physicians often use VestiTrak to view and analyze critical reports regarding patient care, workloads, etc.

4. Is VestiTrak complicated to install or use?

 

No. Most installations are accomplished over the telephone.  Your VestiTrak customer service team will also provide unlimited telephone training so that your staff can become familiar with the features and benefits of VestiTrak.  A typical installation and training session takes from 2-4 hours.

5. Do small or large practices benefit more from VestiTrak?

 

Smaller practices that have limited staff (and, oftentimes, a lower level of automation) find that VestiTrak is a very cost effective way to automate their follow-up procedures. Our smaller practice groups find that using VestiTrak is like hiring additional staff members at a fraction of the cost.

 

At larger facilities the sheer number of patient records, lab tests, and follow-up appointments can be overwhelming. VestiTrak permits these practices to rest assured that all tests ordered by the physicians are completed, received, and reviewed.  Missing lab results are quickly detected, and cancelled follow-up appointments are tracked and rescheduled.

6. Will we have to enter our existing patient data into VestiTrak?

 

No. VestiTrak automatically imports existing patient information from your current system.

If you presently have a manual follow-up system, you will need to input some data into VestiTrak. Our clients that have gone through this process report that it was much easier than they expected and well worth the effort.  We can provide you with guidance on how best to accomplish this.

7. Can we customize VestiTrak to fit our needs?

 

Yes. A major advantage of VestiTrak is the ability to add or delete functions that are specific to your practice.  Many of these modifications can be made by your staff, such as modifications to the many form letters that VestiTrak includes.  We are also available to assist you in more detailed changes.

8. How much will it cost to purchase future releases of VestiTrak?

Updates and subsequent software releases are provided without charge to customers covered by an annual maintenance agreement.

9. Can we run VestiTrak on our network?

Yes.  VestiTrak can be used in a network environment.  Additionally, VestiTrak can be run on a LAN or a WAN.   Our technical support team can help you network VestiTrak among several practice locations and physicians.
