FemTrack becomes VestiTrak
Name
Change Reflects Focus on Broader Health Care Market
Chicago, IL, March 4, 2003 – FemTrack, the only critical
care software designed for complete healthcare tracking and follow-up,
officially became VestiTrak, effective February 1, 2003. Celine Kapila, a principal with NC
Consulting, Inc., has been appointed President of VestiTrak Int’l
Inc.
NC Consulting created FemTrack in 2000 for healthcare providers
facing increased liabilities and reduced revenues due to changing
reimbursement policies of the managed health organizations. The software
was initially designed exclusively for OB/GYN practices, but in mid-2002,
to meet the needs of other practice areas, NC Consulting began planning
for VestiTrak to be expanded into other fields as well. Nidhir Sreedevan, Executive Vice President
of VestiTrak Int'l explained, "The response to FemTrack from the
OB/GYN sector has been gratifying.
We now want to create critical care software for all areas of the
medical profession. The name VestiTrak, and the formation of a separate
company, will help communicate our commitment to the risk management and
cost reduction needs of the overall provider community at this critical
juncture of the healthcare field."
